Applying to Edison State College is fast and easy!
Please note that you will need to access the application system from a normal computer/browser.
Step 1 - COMPLETE AND SUBMIT YOUR ADMISSION APPLICATION
| New students may begin the application process by applying online at http://www.edison.edu/admissions. After completing your online application, please submit required fees and residency documents (see below).
Returning students must complete a Paper Application (PDF) and bring it, mail it, or fax it to the Admissions Office. Returning students are not required to pay another application fee.
Dual Enrollment Students do not apply online, please see your high school counselor.
Transient Students should apply online as Non Degree seeking students.
In addition, if you are a Florida resident, you MUST complete the residency documentation (PDF). These forms must be mailed or faxed to the Admissions Office.

Step 2 - ORIENTATION
| Complete the Online Orientation. Here you will learn all about the services and programs offered at Edison. Also can also sign up for an orientation at the Counseling and Advising Office, or call them directly at 239-489-9230. |
Step 3 - ASSESSMENT / PLACEMENT TESTING
| Make an appointment to determine your math, English, and reading placement by calling Assessment and Testing Services at 239-489-9237.
If you have taken the ACT or SAT within the last two years, bring a copy of your test scores. If you have taken college-level math and English, bring a copy of your transcripts (must clearly indicate your name and the institution).

Step 4 - ADVISING OR SOAR
Based on referral from Assessment & Testing Office, you will need to schedule an appointment with an advisor at the Counseling and Advising Counter or call 239-489-9365.
If needed, you can schedule an appointment with the Soar Office by calling 239-432-5205. |
Step 5 - REGISTRATION
Once you've gotten this far, you can now log into the myEdison Portal and register for your classes. Click on the 'Student Academics' tab, then 'Register for Classes'. |
Step 6 - PAYMENT
Pay for your class fees by the deadline appearing in your class schedule. You may also pay via credit card in the myEdison portal, or at the Cashier's Office. |
